Seize this rare opportunity to sit down with Daniel Chai

as he shares about beginning the acoustic guitar!

Daniel will share his personal experience highlighting important basics to get started and avoiding pitfalls that hamper musical growth and what you should ideally be practising to get to the next level. As a bonus during the workshop, you will also learn about how and why different types of woods are chosen for a guitar and how the size and designs affect the voice of the instrument.

A name known to many in the music scene, Daniel has toured and worked with many artistes like Stefanie Sun, Angela Chang and JJ Lin and has been involved in numerous musical theatre productions like The Lion King and Chorus Line. Besides teaching at various institutions like Lasalle College of the Arts and performing with various orchestras, Daniel also keeps a busy schedule producing, arranging and sessioning for various projects. Daniel also runs a professional studio Daniel’s Room.

This workshop is designed to be the 1st in a series that will teach and share guitar ideas from basics to intermediate to advanced.
