You are welcome to use the space at a rate of $10/day/pax for work or reading only when there are no ongoing events. Please check the calendar to make sure the space is available before you head down.

Private bookings are not restricted by standard opening hours. Do email us at or DM us on IG/FB @room2f if you  have any queries.

2. What is Room2F?

Room2F is an integrated concept brought together by a group of friends comprising:

  • Event space

  • Community space

  • Sanity Coffee Bar

  • Music recording studio (in partnership with Playground Studio)

Located conveniently at The Esplanade Mall, Room2F offers a cosy, comfortable, flexible yet affordable space for work, reading, casual gatherings and events.

3. How do I use the community space?

Daily walk-in entry* is available at a flat rate of $6 per pax and is only valid for the same day of purchase. You will need to exit the space if it has been booked for a private event, but re-entry is allowed when the space is re-opened after the event.


No seats are to be reserved, and your belongings should be taken with you when you leave the space. Room2F will not be liable for any missing valuables or belongings. 

Purchases made from Sanity Coffee are separate from the entry fee to Room2F, but you are welcome to bring your food & drinks in to Room2F.

4. What kind of events can I hold/host at Room2F?


We have played host to a wide array of events and activities including corporate meetings, brainstorming, team-bonding sessions, birthday parties, board game nights, film screening, wine tasting sessions, art jams, music and craft workshops, press conferences, music fan meets and more.

Bring in your own game consoles or board games, cater and order in your preferred foods/drinks or hold potluck sessions, 

Just let us know what kind of event and the number of guests you will be hosting and we will do our best to work the space to your needs and budget. Please email us at for enquiries and bookings.

5. What facilities do you provide at Room2F?

6. How do I use the living room?

The living room space can be booked exclusively or for shared use. It is suitable for meetings, team bonding sessions, conferences, birthday parties, gatherings, product launches, film screenings, music performances, workshops and more. Please click here to make a booking or check the calendar for availability.

During non-event hours/days, the living room functions as a community and work space. Entry is walk in at the door (no reservations). Any purchases made at Sanity Coffee are separate from the entry fee to Room2F. 

7. How do I use the recording room/studio?

The recording room (sound proof booth only) can be booked without an engineer for demo recordings, voice over recordings or rehearsals. The room can hold up to a maximum of 4 pax.  Do note that this does not include use of the DAW and control room. Please click here to make a booking.

8. Can I bring food and drinks into the space?

Yes,  you can pack food or drinks in to Room2F, but please avoid strong smelling items like durian, curries, and barbequed foods However, please refrain from bringing any food and drinks into the recording room.

During private bookings, you can also bring in your preferred caterer, or you can order food in from any of the amazing restaurants located in and around the Esplanade.

We strongly encourage you to try out the awesome coffee and croissants from Sanity Coffee too :)


9. Can I charge my laptop and phone there?

Yes, there are power sockets located all around the space that you can plug into. 


10. Where can I find parking nearby?

Parking is available within the Esplanade and at Marina Square. Please refer here for more details.

11. Which is the nearest MRT station?

You can reach us via the Esplanade Station (circle line) or City Hall Station (north-east line & east-west line). There are also many buses that can bring you conveniently to our doorstep. Please refer here for more details.
